Main Inn

The historic Main Inn, built in 1716, houses 16 distinctive rooms, each thoughtfully furnished with traditional décor and showcasing beautiful period details including exposed beams, elegant wainscoting, and wide-plank hardwood floors. The Main Inn offers rooms with king-size or queen-size beds. Newlyweds and guests celebrating special occasions favor the extra spacious Thoreau Suite featuring a king-size bed, open-concept living area, and relaxing jetted tub.

Prescott Wing

For more contemporary accommodations, consider rooms or suites in the adjacent Prescott Wing. Choose from king, queen, or two full-size beds, or suites equipped with a king bed and a separate living area with a queen sofa bed. The Prescott Wing also has pet-friendly rooms. If you need a dog-friendly room, select a room on the first floor of the Prescott Wing when booking. You will be charged a pet fee of $75 per dog per stay upon checking in. The Cottage

Located just behind the Main Inn, The Cottage has 2 two-bedroom suites ideal for wedding parties, families, friend groups, or guests seeking a home-like setting. The first-floor suite has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and a sitting area and the other with two twin beds. There is a full kitchen and bath. The upstairs suite has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two full beds. It also includes a full bath, a half bath, and a full kitchen.

Rebecca’s House

Rebecca’s House, a lovely Queen Anne-style home located just steps from the Main Inn, features four one-bedroom suites, a two-bedroom “townhouse,” and a three-bedroom penthouse. Rebecca’s House is popular with guests looking for an extended stay. Please call us at 978-369-9200 to inquire about availability.

Once used as a hospital for soldiers injured at the Battle of North Bridge, the Liberty Room today provides a bistro-style setting where diners enjoy lunch and dinner overlooking Monument Square.
